Moira, unlike her mother
and brother, wasn’t always enthusiastic about
showing. In keeping with her Irish
personality, when the mood would befit her,
she would shine. Then there were days when
she could be best described as a cow! None
the less, she did do her share of collecting
ribbons, despite playing second fiddle to
Bracken.
She was Peter’s girl and
he took her through to Novice Trial
standard, where, once more, she did her own
thing. To her, trials were for the
entertainment of those watching, and
entertain she did. Pete gave up one trial
short of her CD title as, in particular,
heel free became just that. You heel, I’ll
be free!
She was the more feisty
of the family, giving us a taste of just how
Irish an Irish could be.
Like her mother, she was
an enthusiastic worker, particularly when in
came to retrieving ducks.
Moira rests with her
mother, much loved brother and beautiful
Teddy Bear roses in our front yard.
