First and foremost, the
dogs are our companions, sharing our homes. We have
been dedicated to the Irish Water Spaniel for more
than 30 years and while we no longer participate in
the many other fields of endeavour available to this
versatile breed, we continue to promote them in the
show ring.
As breeders and
exhibitors we are the custodians of our breeds. We
believe that we have the responsibility to preserve
the breed characteristics and breed to the highest
standard possible maintaining the function of the
breed. Three breeds have borne the TIRRIKI prefix:
German Shorthaired Pointer, Irish Water Spaniel and
Border Terrier producing All Breeds Best in Show
winners in each breed.
Robyn and Bianca
are the only Irish Water Spaniel specialists in
Australia to hold licenses to judge Gundogs.
Bianca is also licensed to judge Toys. Peter &
Robyn are Patrons of the Gundog Club of SA,
Robyn also a Life Member while Bianca is a Life
Member of the Junior Kennel Club of SA.
We are proud to showcase our precious dogs past
and present for you. Enjoy a leisurely visit as
you take in the history of Tirriki, the
achievements of the breeds we love and with
which we share our lives today.
